DESCRIPTION
Aura is a lighting collection by Minimo that reimagines the lamp as a study in restraint and material dialogue. Designed by Santiago Orionte, each piece is built around a slender nickel-plated filament structure that holds a tensioned textile shade in place — a composition that feels as much like sculpture as it does like light.
At the heart of Aura lies an integrated LED system directed both toward the textile shade and the lower opening, producing a dual quality of light: a soft, diffused ambient glow that filters through the fabric, and a focused downward beam that grounds the piece in its space. The result is a lamp that adapts to the mood of a room — quiet and enveloping when the moment calls for it, precise and deliberate when it doesn't.
The material palette is equally considered. Steel and polyester come together in a nickel and beige finish, combining industrial rigour with textile warmth — a pairing that speaks to Orionte's interest in the tension between structure and softness, between the made and the crafted.
